Consultor Administrativ Utveckling AB was established in 1981 in Södertälje, 35 km south of Stockholm. It worked primarily within the field of Resource consulting, providing professional skills for major Swedish organisations such as Astra, Scania, Esselte, Telia, Unilever, Atlas Copco, the Swedish Military Defense and the National Police Authority.  

Our company comprised ten consultants of multiple disciplines and with varied business experiences.

 Consultor primarily focused on the areas of Mainframe Systems Development and Data Base Management and, as a result of the varied project experience gained by our consultants, we developed service offers based on the rapidly expanding capabilities of midrange computers and PCs. We initiated a partnership with Progress Software and developed systems for merchandisers and salesmen, primarily in the Food and Beverage sector.

 At the beginning of the nineties, the business was severely hit by market recession. Leif decided to ‘ride the wave’ on his own, developing a new offer for the market - IT-Manager for hire. This turned out to be successful; so successful he was offered a senior post with one of his customers - "an offer he couldn't resist"!

 After a number of successful years as an executive for one of the Sweden’s most significant Retailers, Leif is now re-igniting Consultor, having gained new and invaluable experience during the eight years Consultor has been lying dormant.
