During the period 1989 to 1992, Consultor developed a standard application supporting and controlling Merchandisers and Salesmen working for suppliers to the retail chains in Sweden. The software was developed in co-operation with DLF. The system had functionality for direct orders, control of allocated shelf space in the stores, management of promotion refunds to the stores, route planning, statistics and historic agreements. Consultor put much effort into the development of this application and sold it to a number of companies in Sweden.

Consultor took full responsibility for the implementation of the system, and also the integration back to accounting and order systems. Some customers even used EDI for direct communication with Retailers. All of the customers were pleased with their installations.

In 1995, the rights to the system were transferred to Syntagma in Malmö. Consultor had been working together with them on a number of projects and they were the natural partner.
